By registering with the Workplace Charter on Domestic Abuse, your organisation takes a vital first step toward creating a safe, respectful environment for everyone.
This framework is designed to help you actively address misogyny, domestic abuse and violence against women and girls at a pace that suits your workplace. There are no rigid deadlines, your team can progress toward the formal Charter Mark whenever you are ready.
We support organisations to progress through the following framework:

Sign up to engage with the framework.
Step 2
Assessment
Participate in a review of your organisation's existing policies.
Step 3
Policy Support
Develop a new policy or strengthen your existing one, with guidance and support to fully align with EVAWG standards.
Step 4
Staff Training
Deliver the 1-hour 'Empowering People' module to at least 80% of your staff so that everyone understands the message.
Step 5
Workplace Champions
Train key representatives in an 3-hour session so they can confidently apply the policy and handle disclosures in practice.
Step 6
Audit
Annual compliance reviews, and a formal audit every 3 years.
Step 7
Award
Achieve your formal Charter Mark.
Alongside this journey, we provide continuous access to an ongoing information and support line for staff who may need advice, as well as for managers, workplace champions, or HR teams responding to disclosures.
